    Attempted Abductions Have Parents Worried

In The News

  • Girls warned of online dangers
A new campaign warns girls about posting too much information online. One in seven children using the Internet has been sexually solicited. One in three has been exposed to unwanted sexual material.

  • Disconnect between parents and kids appears online
Youths are used to posting personal details and beliefs in their online journals. These often conflict with their parents' views. This can create problems if the parents are in a high-profile position. Many gossip sites expose the postings of newsmakers' children.

  • Authorities search for Georgia blogger
Descriptions of sexual encounters between dozens of students appeared on MySpace. Georgia authorities are searching for the person who posted the descriptions. The person could face civil and criminal charges. If the poster is a student, he or she could be expelled.

This site has been created for the purpose of protecting the children in our community.  Child safety is a concern to everyone.  We want to be sure that the latest information is available.  We have tested many products - some with good intention but not quite ready for our children and their security.  We are not the only site - but we hope you see our mission and goal for child safety online, at school or at play.
